We have traveled all over Mexico visiting many factories in Puebla, Saltillo and Delores Hidalgo that produce the polular "talavera" tile. We also discovered there is a wide range of quality between the various manufacturers.

Of every place we have visited one manufacturer stands alone in their workmanship. They have won numerous "gold medal" awards in Europe where they compete with the best Italian tile at a fraction of the cost. This is "Azuelos Talavera Cortez" located in the small town of Delores Hidalgo approx. 120 miles northwest of Mexico City in the State of Guanajuato.

Their tile is more expensive than any other manufacturer we know of but the quality is well worth the few extra dollars

All of our Talavera Tables have forged iron bases. The bases will be powder coated any color. We supply bases in many sizes and styles other than the ones shown. Contact us for a specific size.
